A brutal serial killer known as the East End Slasher is stalking the streets of London. Working closely with the press, through ambitious journalist Dan Hyde, the police tighten the net around the Slasher but the killer manages to stay one step ahead. Dan's photographer girlfriend, Tracy Preston, becomes caught up in the terror as the body count rises and the city becomes paralysed with fear.
